Counselling in Birmingham with Anna.
I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a safe secure and confidential environment. So if you are looking for someone to help you through difficult times, or want someone to talk to, why not give me a call?
Your choice of who you see for counselling or therapy is an important decision. Remember that in counselling or psychotherapy you are going to want to talk about personal issues and you need to feel that you will be able to do this with the person you choose. I am hoping that you will choose me, but if you don't please remember to check that like me your therapist is qualified, belongs to a professional counselling or psychotherapy body, adheres to a code of ethics and is properly insured.
I work with individuals and offer short and long term counselling and psychotherapy and personal development work.
I have training in Gestalt counselling and psychotherapy and Person Centred counselling and have completed the four years required for Gestalt psychotherapy training, prior to taking my final exam.
I am an experienced BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor offering counselling in Birmingham.
I have completed the taught component of supervision training and am currently completing the written component.
“Please look around my site. You can visit the "About Me" page and find details of my qualifications and experience. You can click on "My Approach" to find out more about Gestalt Therapy, or click on "Prices" for current fees in Birmingham.”
What happens next?
When you make your first phone call it is quite possible that I will be working and you will get my answering machine. Please leave me a message giving your name and phone number together with anything else you want to say and I will call you back as soon as I can.
If you don't want to make first contact by phone it's fine to email me. Either way it is useful if we can have a talk before the first counselling or psychotherapy session to give us an idea if we want to work together. The initial session is very important for both of us; it is intended as an opportunity for us both to find out a bit about each other and to get a sense of whether we would be able to work together. It is like a mutual interview. You might also want to notice the environment and check if you feel comfortable.
